Laurence comments on the contents the paper contains, stating that the virus, the sterility, and the formula on the page is the key to stopping their problems. Hana stands back up from the ground with a piece of paper, urging Laurence to read it, and he obliges after initial hesitation. Hana is slapped by him in response, falling to the floor while he expresses his regrets to a photograph of his wife. They share a brief kiss before Hana pulls away and tells Laurence that they shouldn't kiss, reminding him of his wife Carol. While he's doing so, he's reassured by Hana Flannigan, played by Helena Canterbury-Boatshoe, who tells him that an unknown event is not his fault. Lance Hemlock, studies a set of notes and expresses confusion at them, sliding them off a desk moments after. He obliges, stating that it's a pivotal scene where his character in the film is faced with a decision that could affect humanity's very survival. Megan, following his answer, claims that he brought in a clip from The Medicated, which opens the following week around the country, requesting to be informed of what happens in the clip. ![]() He expresses discomfort, then answering that when it comes to politics, one should always strive to not mess it up. Megan uses his response to segway into a different topic, asking him for his opinion on the election's result. He goes on to mention that he is motivated by the change he can make in the world by inspiring others. When asked what drives him to act, he gives a cryptic response about suffering for one's audience. ![]() When Megan comments on the two best actor awards from the role, Blunderclatch slyly responds by saying that he's not in it for the awards, although the three little statues do take pride of place on his mantelpiece. He then discusses the difficulty of playing his character in the film, Doctor Lance Hemlock, claiming it was a complete departure from his previous role as Sergeant Brock Rockman in Bullet Man. In response, Laurence exclaims that the film's production was a wild ride, giving praise to the director of the film, Peter Jensen, calling him a wonderful chap. Megan then asks him about what it was like in his most recent film, The Medicated. He returns the thanks, stating that being on the news is among one of the greatest joys of his life. Once the cameras go live, Megan Wolfe introduces Blunderclatch, thanking him for coming on. That perception is instead shattered when behind the scenes, as he becomes someone much more hostile and argumentative, frequently yelling at those around him. Laurence, when in the presence of the public, gives off the facade of being one who is humble and kind, motivated by inspiring others through his media.
